Steve German - some biographical information Education: BFA in photography from California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland - 1976 Career: 34 years experience in the photographic, journalism and printing fields including silkscreen printer, graphic designer, prepress technician, newspaper photojournalist, newspaper designer Photography Exhibits: Various group and one-person photography and printmaking shows from 1976 through 1982. Participating in Yolo County Fair photography exhibition since 2002. Guest photographer at fair in 2006. Exhibit of horse photography at Fat Cat Cafe, Woodland, Oct.-Nov. 2006. Group show at Gallery 2110, Sacramento, Jan. 2011. Awards: Yolo County Fair best-of-show in professionl photography awards in 2002 and 2003. Black and White Spider Awards: 2 photos nominated in 2007 and one in 2009. (“Whiskey on the Hill” from 2007 published in the exhibit book, “The World’s Greatest Black and White Photography Vol. I.” B&W version of “Parallax: Allies” nominated in the wildlife category in 2009.)
